Traditional Javanese teak villa perched above Balinese rice terraces at 700 meters
Accommodation
Rumah Pacung is a two-bedroom villa built from an old Javanese teak house, with two en-suite bathrooms featuring outdoor showers. The living room opens along one side, and the bedrooms have large windows facing the sunrise over the neighboring ridge. Bathrooms are partly open to the sky, and the villa includes a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a large fridge-freezer, cooker, kettle, and ample drinking water supplied.
Location
The villa sits at the end of a narrow track through rice paddies, on a ridge at 700 meters with views over rice fields, wooded gardens, and distant lowlands to the sea. A 20-minute walk along the track reaches the village road, with access to the Batu Karu temple and the Jatiluwih World Heritage Site. A small cafe in the rice fields is a short distance along the track.
Services
The managing couple, Pak Nyoman and Ibu Adik, guide guests to the property since it is not on Google Maps as of April 2025, and they order and deliver food from a local warung. The hotel offers daily housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, and express check-in/out. Guests can arrange airport shuttles, car hire, bicycle rental, and grocery deliveries.
Wellness
On-site massage services include back, couples, foot, full body, hand, head, neck, and general massage.
